BUXOM BLADE, THE
FUGITIVES FROM SEA (BEAST RECORDS)
Second album for The Buxom Blade, snipers who find themselves doing the zazous when their respective signs let them.
The least we can say is that The Buxom Blade is interested in everything, as long as it rocks.
Who would dare to link a "BULLSHIT" like The Clash via Sleaford Mods with a "Hey Fishes" that owes more to Calexico than to the Beastie Boys? Did I lose you in this maze of influences as varied as they are colourful? That's what The Buxom Blade are trying to do.
Lose you to better guide you. Get rid of your principles to refocus on the essential. Reformat your way of thinking, so to speak.
Revolving around a fishy theme, or at least a fishy one, the Buxom Blade are able with this new record to moor themselves to a thousand docks that have all counted in their musical formation, starting from English melodic punk rock.
It's up to everyone to find the source of inspiration. The advantage is that everyone will find their bearings, because the common base of The Buxom Blade is largely as vast as the field of rock'n'roll itself.
All that's left to do is to get on board "Fugitives From Sea" to take us where The Buxom Blade takes us.
