Connecticut-based quintet Goose_Rick Mitarotonda[vocals, guitar], Peter Anspach [vocals, keys, guitar],Trevor Weekz [bass], Ben Atkind [drums], and JeffArevalo (percussion, drums, vocals)_shimmy throughthe cracks between funk, alternative, and rock withhead-spinning hooks, technical fireworks, and the kindof chemistry only possible among small-town and long-time friends.

The common thread through the stylisticdiversity they employ is a rich and deeply rootedlanguage of improvisation.

After selling out theaters coast-to-coast and a seriesof seismic festival performances, the musicianswelcome everybody on their 2021 second full-lengthstudio album, Shenanigans Nite Club.

"While we've been touring, the record has beenhappening in the background," says Rick. "We've doneour fair share of sweating it out and paying our dues onthe road.

There was a natural progression until wereally got on the same page creatively. It's been a long,weird trip.

At times, it was tumultuous. The record is acompanion to those growing pains." In the end, Goose chart their own course andultimately encourage everyone else to do the same.

"Our dream is to inspire people to step off the beatenpath," Rick leaves off. "There are a lot of voices thattell you to play it safe.

I think the coolest thing in theworld is when someone breaks free and goes forwhatever weird shit they dream of doing."
