CRYPTICS, THE
CONTINUOUS NEW BEHAVIOR (PINE HILL RECORDS)
FFO: Descendents, Bad Religion, TSOL, The Lillingtons, The Ramones, AFI, Social Distortion, The Offspring, Wipers, Hüsker Dü..
The Cryptics return strong from their 3-year studio silence with the all-new "Continuous New Behavior" out on Pine Hill Records.
This 14-track album picks up where they left off with 2016's "Make Me Digital." The record is layered with up-tempo melodic anthems like "Face The Day", "Time To Kill Time", "Night Time Freaks" and is accentuated with tracks like "Mystery Line" and "Leads To Betrayal" that really show the darker side of the band's infrastructure.
Stylistically you can hear where the band comes from, where they are in the present and a testament to new waters ahead.
This album features engineering by Dean Baltulonis (The Hold Steady, Bouncing Souls) and Ryan Stack (The World Is_) as well as mastering by Dave Gardner (Ceremony, Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes).
