Danish independent scene: before Olesen-Olesen (brothers) there was GREENE - this is the band's seminal second album from 1994 (CD, Cloudland), for the first time ever available on vinyl.

With a cover of The Velvet Undergrounds "Venus in furs" and a collaboration with Jens Unmack on the title Being with somebody, it is a pure Olesen-Olesen show in dedicated craft in writing good pop / rock songs that will stick to you mind, long after the gramophone is turned off.

Granted, they have become a little darker and melancholy, but that only suits them. An excellent album from start to finish! For fans of The Go-Betweens, Echo And The Bunnymen, Velvet Underground Sealed, with padded inner as well as insert with lyrics, 140g pressed at Optimal, copies are handnumbered (325/500 come as black vinyl).
