KRUGER
ADAM & STEVE (PELAGIC)
Swiss noisemongers KRUGER are about to (finally) release brand new studio material this fall, after four albums which got them on stage (almost) all over the world.
Back on track with a new guitar player, after a tour with Gojira last year and armed with thirteen years of noise expertise, the quintet is ready to unleash « Adam and Steve ».
Produced by the band and mixed by Cult of Luna's Magnus Lindberg, « Adam and Steve » continues KRUGER's tasty and unique mix of Entombed, Converge, Breach and Tool, which has established them as one of Europe's prime noise metal or post-metal acts.
When KRUGER started playing music in 2001, they were met with complete indifference. First album « Built For Speed » and 2nd release « Cattle Truck » caught the attention of Listenable Records.
« Redemption through looseness » in 2007, mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou, grabbed the world's attention in 2007 and was later released on wax through Roadburn Records.
The band toured across Europe and got invited to the continent's most famous greasy spoons (Hellfest, Roadburn, Montreux Jazz, Dour, Transmusicales, Inferno, Paléo, Brutal Assault.).
2010 saw the release of « For Death, Glory and The End of The World », which got KRUGER's name finally nailed into the center of the world's noise metal battlefield map.
Adam & Steve comes in a gatefold cover and partially on black, partially on sin-red wax.
The band will hit the road in October with their fellow countrymen COILGUNS - don't miss your chance to check out not one, but two of the wildest live acts around.
