The Sub Pop Records label celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2008 with, among other things, a 2-day music festival July 12th and 13th at Marymoor Park, somewhat unimaginatively called SP20.

They also managed to paint their name on the top of Seattle's Space Needle and fly a flag bearing the SP logo from its peak.

They're prohibited from including pictures of that here, but swear it really happened. It was all really an unbelievably good time.
