PRIVILEGE (FIRE RECORDS)
Re-issue, this has not been available for many years on CD. The 1990 released "Privilege" was the TVP's' first studio LP in six years and surprised everyone with a polished production.
It includes melancholic giants like "All My Dreams Are Dead," "This Time There's No Happy Ending" and "Sad Mona Lisa".
The wonderful "Salvador Dali's Garden Party" - which runs down all of the luminaries on the guest list - is a return to the psychedelic name-dropping of the group's formative years.
"Colours, girls and tears fly in all directions, splashing down with exquisite psychedelic accuracy.
What more needs to be said? 'Privilege' is a (master) piece of Dan Treacy's delirious mind." - NME
