Joining the ranks of many other classic Mekon's records, Honky Tonkin' is finally available again. This album marks the Mekons' last overt country/cowpunk record, as they slowly shifted into more guitar-oriented rock.

The Mekons are once again enjoying a high profile after January's release of "Punk Rock" (QS82).

That record, comprised of new recordings of old songs, did well at college radio and brought new fans to the world of the Mekons.

Honky Tonkin' is an essential part of every fan's collection, and will serve as a cheap/mid-line title for new fans to dive deeper with.
