The seven musician friends from Dresden and Berlin have known each other for many years and have been active together in the bands Mola (soul & funk) and YellowCap (ska & rocksteady).The enthusiastic Yellow Cap singer convinced the six other musicians of his vision of an `Early Reggae & Rocksteady' band, which initially focusses exclusively on Jamaican and British cover songs from the 60s and 70s.And it's time for Tighten Up to impress with their extremely danceable and energetic music and bring back a long-forgotten era.
