CROW BLACK CHICKEN
GHOST DANCE (RED W/ BLACK MARBLE VINYL) (CROW BLACK CHICKEN)
Blues Rock from Ireland's Deep South: This power trio still combine elements of hard rock with the blues of bands like Gov't mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin.
Now the guys are back with fourth studio album proper, two exeptional live albums have been released as well.
The band was formed in 2009 in Cork city when lead singer Christy O'Hanlon met the former rhythm section of Clonmel Punk Rock outfit Aural Ammunition, Stephen McGrath ( Bass ) and Gev Barrett ( Drums ).
Allmusic on the trios' debut: "Electric Soup is not only a promising debut, it's a savage beast of a record: grimy, lean, mean, and soulful." Classic Rock Blues Mag on the follwing one: "Loving the album, Rumble Shake is stunning".
Classic Rock Blues Magazine. In CBC own words: "We did this album exactly they way we always wanted to do one.
We made camp in Gaf studios in Co Tipperary with just us and producer Philip Magee. We laid down the tracks in a way that captured our famous live energy and then over the next few months Philip produced the tracks from his own studio.
We are immensely proud of our new album Ghost Dance." The whole album is rocketing back straight into the 70s when bands like Ten Years After, George Thorogood, Johnny Winter, Allman Brothers, Cream, Rory Gallagher among many others were at the top of their game.
And so are Crow Black Chicken now. CD is a digpak, LP is red with a black marble effect added.
