His debut album "Wayfarer" (2022) has brought saxophonist/composer Loek van den Berg a lot of good, winning awards for 'Best Composition' (Dutch Jazz Competition) and 'Best Newcomer' (Edison Jazz a.k.a.

Dutch Grammy). On his new album "Seafarer", Loek continues his journey blending jazz, world music and neo classical.

Focus track is "Languages of the Unheard", which is a protest march. There are a lot of reasons to protest at the moment for we do not always treat each other and the earth well.
