Gwendoline is an ex-underdog duo on the indie scene in France. Micka and Pierre, sensitive losers and big blowhards of the start-up generation, create their very special brand of electro wave with haunting and poetic spoken word, their main source of inspiration being the conversations at the bar and the people they observe around them.

Between fatalistic lyrics, self-irony, sarcasm and bitterness about the mediocrity of the world, their sincere cold-wave is a symbol of disillusioned youth and the perfect soundtrack for demonstrations.

Back in 2017, they recorded their first album by locking themselves away for a fortnight and composing everything in one go, feeding on their daily environment in Rennes, numerous evenings spent in bars and the anxieties of our time.

`Après c'est Gobelet!' was initially self-released digitally and released on vinyl by the Spanish underground label Dead Wax.

A second edition followed self-released in 2021 (here also on CD). In the run-up to the new, remastered edition of the album `Après C'est Gobelet', three singles and music videos (`Chevalier Ricard', `Audi RTT', `Voldebière') were released, which wonderfully illustrated the band's concerns between self-irony and sharp criticism of the lifestyle of the underground millennials.

From then on, things went steeply uphill. Born Bad released their second album at the beginning of 2024 and found themselves at the centre of a hype similar to that surrounding La femme at the time! So the debut of the two had to come back, now in its third edition.
