The world's loudest rock/fusion instrumental power trio brings us their first concept album: In DUCK, the protagonist, a duck, flees from a penguin policeman to New York, where excitement and danger await him.

The Aristocrats - Guthrie Govan/guitar, Bryan Beller/bass, Marco Minnemann/drums - have created a kaleidoscopic musical universe in which they explore both typical genre pastiches and inventive new arrangements - some of them surprisingly soulful and sensitive - to bring the story to its fast-paced conclusion.

And while their obvious virtuosity and inherent absurdity is as present as ever, it is now utilised in the band's most ambitious compositional and sonic production to date.

The varied music accompanies the protagonist from the duck in a big city dance club ("Aristoclub") to the violent ejection from a dive ("Hey, Where's MY Drink Package") to the gloomy theme for his penguin pursuer ("Sgt.

Rockhopper") and finally ends with the action-packed Balkan fusion finale "This Is Not Scrotum", which features violinist Rusanda Panfili (Hans Zimmer Live) as a rare Aristocrats album special guest.

Duck is the Aristocrats' first new studio album in five years and features original artwork by Lance Myers (Space Jam).

And it's clear that the ARISTOCRATS have taken their collective artistry to a whole new, albeit absurd, level.
