RIGHT SAID FRED
UP (BLACK VINYL REISSUE) (SEXY RECORDS)
Reissued! The debut album from the seminal pop group, finally the recordings are back on CD and LP in it's original form.
Featuring the hit singles 'Deeply Dippy', 'Don't Talk Just Kiss' and the worldwide smash 'I'm Too Sexy' (recently reprised and reinterpreted by Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Drake).
"A cultural touchstone" Rolling Stone. UP is the first album by English pop group Right Said Fred, originally released in 1992.
The album (Us Billboard # 46) contains the group's only United States Top 40 hit, "I'm Too Sexy", which was number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks in February 1992, and their only UK number-one hit "Deeply Dippy", which stayed in that position for three weeks from April to May 1992.
Next to "I'm Too Sexy", UP contains relentless hooks, more goofy catchphrases, and camp sensibility coming out of its ears, including album tracks "No One on Earth", "Do Ya Feel" as well as ever popular "Don't Talk Just Kiss" (#2 German Single Charts) and "Deeply Dippy" (#1 UK Single Charts) of course.1992 charts G/S/A: Austrian Albums (Ö3 Austria) #1, German Albums (Offizielle Top 100) #8, Swiss Albums (Schweizer Hitparade) #22! "If Martians tried to approximate Earth music by channeling frivolous Top 40 like ABBA's, overwrought cabaret like Liza Minnelli's, and smart disco like the Pet Shop Boys', the result might sound like Up.
