HIGH SOUTH
PEACE, LOVE & HARMONY REVISITED (LIVE & STUDIO) (HIGH SOUTH RECORDS)
P, L & H once more - the band would like to continue their successfully started (German album charts No.
47), but at the beginning of the pandemic interrupted journey, and is coming back on tour in April, bringing along a new physical and partly exclusive release, what musically remained and was newly added in the last two turbulent years.
11 wonderful studio recordings and a representative live album, compiled from rare studio outtakes and favourite cover versions, which are just too good to be kept from the music world and especially from the trio's many loyal fans.
The big bonus (for once not available digitally) is a great LIVE AT WOODSTOCK album, a souvenir, a reminder or a teaser, just as you like! Phoenix Mendosa has now left the band with a heavy heart, so PEACE, LOVE & HARMONY - REVISITED is both: atime document and time machine, which turns back the clocks by another 24 months and takes us to a saner world in which Jamey Garner, Kevin Campos and Phoenix Mendoza perform their magical three-part harmony vocals together one last time in the style of the great 60s and 70s bands, taking us on a harmonic musical trip.
High South will continue their journey in Europe directly after the album's release on April 1st, with founding members Jamey Garner and Kevin Campos accompanied by LA-based great musician and John Fogerty sideman Devon Pangle amongst others.
The CD version includes 11 studio tracks and 13 live recordings (LIVE IN WOODSTOCK) as a high quality limited edition double CD, complete with two 16-page booklets. The vinyl version of the album includes LIVE IN WOODSTOCK plus five selected studio tracks.
