Recordings 1983-1986 Vol.1: Tarnfarbe was founded in 1982 in Neuwied / Germany by Ralf (Vox & Bass), Michael (guitars) and Willi (drums) and their sound was strongly influenced by American hardcore, which was a bit unusual in Germany at the time and you played fast, catchy & melodic pearls with German and English lyrics.

Her first album Heroes Of Today was released in 1984 by a very small label called Rat Records and is considered a milestone in German punk music, why is not known, but it is true.

On the album "Vorstufe Apokalypse Recordings 1983 - 1986 Vol.1" there are 14 songs from the early days of the band, including the first demo, as well as rare material from various vinyl and tape samplers.

The whole thing comes in a beautifully designed gatefold cover with interviews, texts and previously unpublished pictures.
