Originally released on CDr and cassette in 2013, Denatured was remastered for vinyl by Paul Gold (Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Jason Molina) and pressed on transparent smoky grey vinyl and limited to 300 copies.

This was released on April 15, 2016. Denatured is the 4th Real Live Tigers album and the second of two that were recorded in Fayetteville, Arkansas at East Hall Recording.

It is the quieter counter-point to 2011's full band rock album Spirit Animal. The album features a more relaxed vocal delivery from Tony Presley, accompanied by beautiful background vocals, violin, organ, accordion, and lap steel.
