OLESEN-OLESEN
DER ER BREV FRA ONKEL BOB I AMERIKA (WOULDN'T WASTE RECORDS)
label:
WOULDN'T WASTE RECORDS
Olesen-Olesen was a Danish independent/guitar folk/pop band, consisting of the brothers Peter H. and Henrik Olesen.
As a duo the they started recording as Skizo Kids before forming the band Greene. After Greene they formed Olesen-Olesen.
WWR release the first ever vinyl versions of the best Olesen-Olesen albums. The title "Onkel Bob", refers to Bob Dylan, which is a major influence to this record.
There is no doubt that a certain Robert Zimmermann has named the title, because Dylan musically fills a large place with Olesen-Olesen.
And it is no shame, for songwriting, they have put down their best album to date, where they distinguish themselves markedly and personally from other Danish-language colleagues.
Dylan-fans will like this, no matter it's sung in Danish... Sealed black vinyl (325 units), with padded inner as well as insert with lyrics, 140g pressed at Optimal.
