MISS LUDELLA BLACK
SHE'S OUT THERE (DAMAGED GOODS)
Miss Ludella Black (THE DELMONAS, THEE HEADCOATES) is back with her first solo longplayer. With her close friend and ex-leader of THEE MILKSHAKES, Micky Hampshire she spent a lot of time writing new songs that would come to grace as "She's out there".
Beneath her own songs she covered the SGANGRI-LAS' stunning "Never again", BRENDA LEE's "Is it true" and THE TROGGS' beautiful "Last summer".
Micky Hampshire also went to play guitar on the album, bass came courtesy of ex-HEADCOAT Johnny Johnson while the legendary Bruce Brand bashed out the rhythm under the watchful eyes and ears of Professor Liam Watson at the wonderful Toe Rag studios in London...
the result is a charming new garage record featuring some great sounding evocative songs to warm the heart.
