Hit after hit, Wally Tax and his band eventually played at Woodstock and were the idols of Kurt Cobain.
While The Outsiders were still at their peak in 1967, Wally Tax released his first solo album Love In [MOVLP1731].
In 1974 he won the Silver Harp as an award for his musical talent. The album Springtime in Amsterdam by Wally Tax & The Music was originally released in 1989, with keyboardist and producer Ben Waalwijk.
The album was well received by critics and includes some characteristic and vulnerable songs by the rock 'n' roll legend.
Both the tracks "Springtime in Amsterdam" and "Beautiful Friendship" were made into singles.
As the record was pressed in limited quatities back in the days, the album is now heavily sought after.
Finally available again, Music On Vinyl is pressing the first 500 individually numbered copies on transparent green vinyl.
